On 3-4 May 2018, in Fez, the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice of the Council of Europe is organising a second training session for Moroccan court registrars in the framework of the programme to support the justice sector reform in Morocco funded by the European Union

All administrative officials from the registry office of the courts of the north of the Kingdom of Morocco, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Justice, the Higher Institute of the Judiciary and the Archives Regional Centers, will be gathered by the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) for a training session on "The role of the Registry in the management of a court" on 3 and 4 May 2018 in Fez.

This training session follows the one held on 12 and 13 April 2018 in Marrakech for court registrars from the south of the country. Thus, all administrative officials from the registry of the Moroccan courts, about 250 people, will have received training in court management.

Each of the 2 days training session covered the following topics:

• the role and powers of the Secretary General of the court;

• management dialogue;

• human resources management;

• internal communication; and

• the management of archives.

This training, designed by the CEPEJ in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice of Morocco, is part of the project “Improving the functioning of justice in Morocco using the tools of the CEPEJ", financed by the European Union, co-financed by the Council of Europe and implemented by the CEPEJ.
