The meetings of the bilateral Steering Committee of South Programme II took place in Tunis on 26 November 2015 in respect of Tunisia and in Rabat on 30 November 2015 in respect of Morocco. For each country, a workshop on justice reform highlighting the status of the 2015 cooperation has been organised. During this workshop, the partnership with the pilot courts was evoked, especially for a better implementation of the CEPEJ tools and methodologies which aim at improving the quality and efficiency of justice. These workshops were followed by an exchange of views, and have been organised in the framework of the Joint Programme “Towards strengthened democratic governance in the Southern Mediterranean”, financed by the European Union and implemented by the Council of Europe.
