Report on the implementation of selected CEPEJ tools in pilot courts of the Republic of Moldova

Between June 2015 and March 2017 the CEPEJ and judicial authorities of the Republic of Moldova cooperated actively to improve the efficiency of courts and the quality of judicial services. Six pilot courts implemented tools developed by the CEPEJ in their day-to-day activities. The cooperation was part of the Project "Strengthening the efficiency of justice and support to lawyer’s profession in the Republic of Moldova", under the European Union and the Council of Europe programme Partnership for Good Governance. A team of CEPEJ experts, from the Netherlands, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, France, and Greece, conducted a thorough court coaching programme, which was concluded by an assessment of the pilot court’s results and the development of a set of recommendations in view of further dissemination of the CEPEJ tools in all courts of the Republic of Moldova. The Report on the implementation of selected CEPEJ tools in pilot courts of the Republic of Moldova was presented and discussed with the major actors of the justice sector during the final conference on 21 March 2017, highlighting the best practices achieved by the pilot courts after learning about and putting in practice the CEPEJ tools.
