Two CEPEJ experts, Mr Jacques Bühler and Mr Jon Johnsen paid a visit to Tirana on 23 – 27 November 2015 with a view to assessing the progress made by courts in implementing Court Coaching Programmes on 15 SATURN Priority Guidelines and quality tools. The highlight of the week was a national conference, which took place on 25 November 2015, aimed to introduce the draft national report on judicial time management built on observations resulting from the Court Coaching Programmes conducted in all first and second level courts across Albania, and the High Court. The conference aimed to facilitate a constructive exchange on the main challenges of time management and on the way forward, as well as the projected activities in line with the on-going justice reform process. Representatives of the Albanian Constitutional Court, High Court, Ministry of Justice, the High Council of Justice, School of Magistrates, the Prosecution Office, Law University and a substantial number of first and second level courts attended the Conference. International organisations working in the justice area in Albania joined as well.
