On 1-2 March 2017 were carried out two final training sessions for representatives of 6 pilot courts, the secretariat of the Superior Council of Magistrates and the Agency for Court Administration of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova. The CEPEJ national correspondent as well as staff, trainees and trainers of the Institute of Justice of the Republic of Moldova attended this activity, which was part of the Project "Strengthening the efficiency of justice and support to lawyer’s profession in the Republic of Moldova". The training was based on a review of all the steps taken by the CEPEJ team and the pilot courts themselves for the purpose of assessing the efficiency and quality of judicial services. Therefore, the participants were given exhaustive explanations in view of drawing up efficiency and quality indicators on the basis of an accurate statistical analysis. Were discussed aspects connected to interpretation of statistical data and developing regular reports on courts’ performance. On the second day were reviewed all the steps to be taken in the process of conducting a satisfaction survey at court level. Several actors participated in the surveys implemented as part of the project, including CEPEJ experts, staff and trainees of the National Institute of Justice. The training allowed sharing the information and experiences acquired by all participants and creating knowledge and capacity which would allow all the participants to lead a survey throughout all its phases (initiation, conduct, analysis of data, reporting, acting upon the results and conclusions).
