The Steering Group worked, among other things, on the orientations for the 2014 study on judicial timeframes in 2nd and 3rd instance courts, as well as on the update of Recommendation Rec(86)12 concerning the measures to prevent and reduce the excessive workload in the courts. The Group also reviewed the activities carried out by the CEPEJ in the framework of cooperation programmes in progress (including in Jordan).
