The CEPEJ Working Group on the evaluation of judicial systems (CEPEJ-GT-EVAL), whose mandate was recently renewed by the CEPEJ for two years (2024-2025), held its 46th meeting in Strasbourg on 7 and 8 February 2024. The Working Group reappointed Mr Jaša Vrabec (Slovenia) as President of the Group. During this meeting, the CEPEJ-GT-EVAL defined the structure and outlined the content of the chapters (first part) as well as the country profiles (second part) of the next Evaluation Report on European judicial systems, which will be published in October 2024. This information, together with the methodology for analysing the data and writing the different chapters, was presented to the experts in charge of drafting the Report, who were present online on the second day of the meeting. The status of national data collection, the timetable for preparing the report and the supervision of the different chapters by the members of the Working Group were also discussed. Finally, the co-operation with the European Commission developed in the framework of the CEPEJ's evaluation activities (European Union Justice Scoreboard, Western Balkans Dashboard and Eastern Partnership Dashboard) was also on the agenda of this meeting.
