The CCJE holds its 23rd plenary meeting

The CCJE held its 23rd plenary meeting from 30 November to 2 December 2022 in Strasbourg and virtually. The outcomes of the meeting included the topic of the next CCJE Opinion to be prepared in 2023 which will address the advances in technology and use of technology. The CCJE also decided to focus its thematic study on the lessons learnt as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and how they changed the administration of justice.

In the course of the plenary meeting, Anke EILERS (Germany) was re-elected as President, and Leonie REYNOLDS (Ireland) as Vice-President for 2023. The Working Group and the Gender Equality Rapporteur for 2023 were appointed by the CCJE.

The next plenary meeting of the CCJE will take place on 29 November – 1 December 2023 in Strasbourg.
