The second training workshop on reporting on the conservation status of species and habitats under Resolution 8 (2012) took place in the Council of Europe office in Paris on 8 and 9 November 2018.

This meeting followed up on a first workshop held in Copenhagen in April and drawed the lessons from the assessment of the trial reports supplied by Contracting Parties. It was the occasion to discuss the possible improvements, the challenges the countries are facing but also to share the good practices. Thanks to the support of the European Environment Agency (EEA) through the European Union project ENI SEIS EAST II, this workshop gave the opportunity to strengthen the capacities of the Contracting Parties and observer States to the Bern Convention for reporting on the conservation status of species and habitats of European interest launched beginning of 2019.

More information are available on the training workshop webpage.
