Within the scope of the European Union – Council of Europe Joint Project “Strengthening Democratic Culture in Basic Education”, the Democratic School Culture Working Group, made up of representatives from the different departments of the Ministry of National Education, teachers , and school principals from pilot schools, continued to evaluate the Whole School Model at the meeting held on 22-23 August, in Ankara.
The participants to ensure the effectiveness of the Model in practice presented their views on the Model that consist of three parts, which are for pre-school, primary and secondary schools.
The model is planned to be implemented in the 2019-2020 school year in 110 pilot schools within the scope of the Project following the final approval of MoNE.
