The fourth training of trainers (ToT) activity was held in Sapanca-Sakarya between 07 and 10 March 2022 with the participation of 19 court registrars from the Ankara, Izmir, Samsun, Hatay, Aydın and Istanbul first instance courts and regional administrative courts, and also from the Council of State.
Two court presidents from the Ankara Regional Administrative Court 9th Administrative Litigation Chamber and Gaziantep 1st Administrative Court who had prepared court staff guides also joined the ToT and provided guidance during the training.
Resource experts from the Directorate General of Informatics of the Ministry of Justice presented the National Judiciary Informatics System (UYAP) and delivered a special session for the court staff on Case Management System (DYS).
The 4-day training on Case and Time Management for Court Staff (Module 4) was delivered by an adult education expert (international consultant Maria Marinova), a testing and assessment expert (Prof Dr Hasan Atak) and module writers (Prof Dr Bahtiyar Akyılmaz, Prof Dr Serkan Çınarlı, Fatma Betül Damar Çıtak and Uğur Cem Türker).
The training of trainers programme aimed to equip participants with an improved understanding of adult education and training techniques. To this end, in addition to the sessions on education methodology, 8 sessions of a model training on the Case and Time Management for Court Staff were also delivered.
Following the training of trainers, cascade training will be initiated.
