An online meeting on assessing the impact of the pre-service and in-service training activities of Justice Academy of Türkiye (JAT) was conducted on 29-30 June 2022 with the participation of 19 representatives of the JAT, including trainers, officers and statisticians. The meeting aimed to define specific tools for evaluation and demonstrate how to use them and to plan tailor-made evaluation for different training activities.
The meeting succeeded in introducing online evaluation tools and demonstrating their practicality. The Assessment of the existing systems/mechanisms for evaluation and impact of human rights training, which was translated within the scope of the project, was also introduced and referenced during the meeting. The group had fruitful discussions regarding currently used evaluation tools based on trainers’ experiences in the trainings.
This activity was organised under the EU/CoE Joint Project “Strengthening the Criminal Justice System and the Capacity of Justice Professionals on Prevention of the European Convention on Human Rights Violations”.
