Co-ordination Meeting was Held for the European Union-Council of Europe Joint Project on “Promoting Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in Turkey”

Within the scope of the European Union-Council of Europe Joint Project on “Promoting Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in Turkey”, a co-ordination meeting was held on 27 September 2023 with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Justice Directorate General for Criminal Affairs and the Council of Europe. Deputy Director General for Criminal Affairs of the Ministry of Justice, Mr Orhan Cüni, Head of Department of the Ministry of Justice, Ms Merve Özcan, Head of Operations of the Council of Europe Ankara Programme Office, Ms Pınar Başpınar, Project Manager, Mr Musa Toprak and the project teams attended the meeting.

The meeting gathered the project partners to assess the implementation of the project activities for the period September - December 2023. The project teams exchanged views on additional project activities and other administrative issues. In addition, the activities of the extension period of the project in 2024 were discussed and the new project schedule was defined.

The Project on “Promoting Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in Turkey” is co-funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe. The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Türkiye Directorate General for Criminals Affairs and Directorate General for Legal Affairs are the end beneficiaries of the Project. The Central Finance and Contracts Unit is the contracting authority of the project.
