A woman’s pursuit of justice may extend beyond obtaining a remedy for the violation of her own rights. A single case can create new legal ways for other women facing similar challenges, which could overall contribute to systemic changes in existing practices and strengthen the protection of women’s rights.
Could an individual case bring about broader change? What makes litigation strategic, and how could legal proceedings be used as an effective tool to strengthen women’s access to justice?
These questions will be explored during an online training on strategic litigation, which will be provided on 17 October 2026 by Attorney Dr Tuğçe Duygu Köksal.
We kindly invite legal professionals from bar associations and civil society organisations to register for this training, to explore how to strengthen women’s access to justice through strategic litigation practices.
