REPORT : « EUROPEAN JUDICIAL SYSTEMS - 2012 EDITION »
ERRATA
The following information has been addressed by the member states to the CEPEJ Secretariat after the date on which the 2012 Edition of the report « European judicial systems » has been printed.
Ireland
- in table 10.1 : Public prosecutors, persons with similar duties as public prosecutors and non-prosecutor staff attached to public prosecution services in 2010 (Q55, Q57, Q60), page 232 of the English version, should read :
o « 82 » instead of « 191 » in the column « Number of public prosecutors »
o « 109 » instead of « 191 » in the column « Number of non-prosecutor staff attached to the public prosecution service ».
- in table 11.15 :Gross and net annual salaries of judges and prosecutors at the beginning of career, in 2010 (Q132) , page 261 of the English version, should read :
o « 33576 » instead of « - » in the column « Gross annual salary of a public prosecutor » ;
- in table 12.1 : Absolute number of lawyers and legal advisors, number per 100.000 inhabitants and umber per professional judge (Q1, Q46, Q146, Q147, Q148), page 308 of the English version, should read « 10933 » instead of « 8625 » in the column « Total number of practicing lawyers (without legal advisors) ».
Greece
- in table 2.9 : Break-down by component of court budgets in 2010 (Q6), page 30 of the English version, should read :
o « 330000€ » instead of « 300000€ » in the column « Annual public budget allocated to the computerisation (equipment, investments, maintenance) »
o « 2100000€ » instead of « 200000€ » in the column « Annual public budget allocated to training and education»
- in table 7.1 : Type and number of judges in 2010 (Q46, Q48 et Q49), page 144 of the English version, in the column « Absolute number, Professional judges » should read « 3313 » instead of « 2041 ».
Norway
- in table 2.1 : Public budget allocated to courts, legal aid and public prosecution in 2010 in € (Q6, Q12, Q13), page 19 of the English version, should read :
o « 21399000 » instead of « NA » in the column « Total annual approved budget allocated to legal aid » ;
- in table 11.53 : Authorities with disciplinary power against judges (Q142), page 297 of the English version, Norway should be added and the cells: « Disciplinary court or body » and « Minister of justice (executive power) » should be ticked.
These corrections may have an impact on other tables. These corrections will be included in a revised edition of the report which will be published at a later date
