European Day of Civil Justice in Germany

The Regional Court of Leipzig (Landgericht Leipzig) is preparing a one-day event within the framework of the European Day of Civil Justice on 6 November 2008.

The topic will be consumer protection and cross-border enforcement of judgements. A number of activities are planned on the premises of the Regional Court in Leipzig, such as a moot court involving judges from Germany and Poland (Regional Court of Krakow) and talks and discussions on consumer protection and the European Judicial Network.

The event is being organised by the Regional Court of Leipzig in cooperation with the Federal Office of Justice (Bundesamt fr Justiz) in Bonn, the State of Saxony and the Regional Court of Krakow.
