 In
2005, the Consultative Council of European Judges adopted
opinion no7 on "justice and society".
In this regard, the CCJE proposed that the following points which
appear in the Framework Global Action Plan for Judges in Europe be
considered:
- the educational role of the courts in a democracy, relations with the
public;
- relations with all those involved in court proceedings;
- accessibility, simplification and clarity of the language used by the
courts in proceedings and decisions ;
This work was carried out on the basis of the replies by delegations
to a
questionnaire on "justice and society".
