 In
2004, the Consultative Council of European Judges adopted
opinion no6 on
"fair trial within a reasonable time and judge’s
role in trials".
In this regard, the CCJE asked the Chair of Working
Party to draft a
questionnaire on the topics for consideration in 2004:
- case management;
- judges' role in trials;
- the use of alternative dispute resolution methods.
