Global Education News is an electronic newsletter where national global education coordinators or practitioners can share global education news and best practices, useful thematic links and educational materials. It also serves as a medium for the North-South Centre global education network national coordinators' own use.

    Please find herewith the last issue of the Global Education newsletter, focusing on intercultural dialogue through related useful links §3, resources §4 and events §6, with interesting perspectives on the concept and role of intercultural cities.
    Under §4 resources, you will also find references related to child rights and several calls for proposals and for papers under §5. Updated information on Sustainable Development is available under §7 with a special focus on Africa.

    . Two organisations are searching for project partners for the open EC development education call (deadline for concept notes on February 19, 2008) :
    - The Austrian organisation "SOL - People for Solidarity, Ecology and Lifestyle" is looking for 1-2 partner organisations from the EU for a joint development education project. Project title: We are living on the South
    - The German organisation "Weltfriedensdienst" (Civil Peace Service) is looking for partner NGOs or associates (from Poland, Czech Republic, Austria or other EU countries) for two project proposals to the EC within the open call for public awareness and education for development. Working title: Global Changes – Global Opportunities (Abstract ONE: Work for Peace, Abstract TWO: PeaceXchange)
