“Youth Action for Change”
|
Youth Action for Change - YAC –is a global platform reaching out to young people in over 120 countries worldwide (mostly developing countries). providing free online courses for young people taught by other young people. This peer-to-peer methodology, once used only in teaching Reproductive Health issues, is effectively used in a broader range of issues, including Sustainable Development, Project management and Human Rights. All of the programs (including courses, dialogues with experts, mentoring and campaigning and networking) are provided free of charge, running on no budget, establishing YAC as a fully sustainable model for development.

Education for Global Citizenship: New Ways to learn for our Future. International School and NGO-Network: 2003 – 2006
|
The pilot project Education for Global Citizenship initiates to set up an international learning-partnership of NGO’s and schools. In the framework of this project-partnership a Curriculum on Education for Global Citizenship will be developed, transformed into practice and established in the educational systems of the partner countries of the project. Therewith this project offers an innovative and qualitative contribution to further development (methodically, in its contents) of Global Education and Citizenship Education. Altogether 25 schools – five schools each from Austria, Cameroon, Chile, Italy and the Netherlands – are participating in the project. Schools carry out project work on school level and also on international level, together with their partner-school in the “Theme-group”.
