National Media Encounter - Journalism & Media Training & Literacy

24 - 26 October 2012, Mechelen (Belgium)

Another European tour will end with this last encounter; the one dedicated to training. In fact, the 5th and last National Media Encounter Journalism & Media Training & Education – is planned to be held in October 2012. The dates and the location are still to be confirmed. The next MARS newsletter will soon invite journalism trainers, journalists and media educators living in Belgium to join this encounter.

Objective

To allow trainers and educators to develop and to have access to pedagogical and methodological tools for journalism training and media literacy in order to allow journalism students and journalists to considering non discrimination and expression of diversity as an ongoing angle of media coverage.
