Job announcement for the Ljubljana Process II

The Regional Cooperation Council, and more specifically its Task Force on Culture and Society, is currently setting up a Secretariat to be based in Cetinje (Montenegro) for implementing the “Ljubljana Process II: Rehabilitating our Common Heritage”.

Three full time positions are being advertised: Head of the Secretariat, Project Manager and Administrator (www.rcc.int “Employment”). The Secretariat should be operational by the beginning of 2011 and will be responsible for the project until its completion in 2013. Applications should be sent to the Regional Cooperation Council before 30 November 2010.

The project, supported and funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe (Regional Programme for Cultural and Natural Heritage in South-East Europe), will develop rehabilitation activities for cultural and historical monuments and sites in South-East Europe, based on the methodology of the project that has been carried out jointly by the European Union and the Council of Europe since 2003 – the Integrated Rehabilitation Projects Plan/Survey of the Architectural and Archaeological Heritage) (www.coe.int/irppsaah).

The Secretariat staff should therefore be familiar with, or specialised in, heritage management/project management, even though additional international expertise will be provided by the Council of Europe and partner organisations throughout the implementation of the activities.
