[December 2020] Entraide-Solidarity supported  the construction of a cafeteria in the centre for mentally ill persons at the outskirts of Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso. It was implemented by the Development Association in Burkina Faso, known as "Sainte Véronique".

The amount of €687 was donated to the Development Association.

[December 2020] Education project for orphan children in Rwanda was supported by providing essential school materials for 25 children. The project was implemented by the Association APECOS Rwanda (Association de Prise en Charge des Orphelins du Sida).

The amount of €625 was donated to the Association APECOS Rwanda.

[June 2020] Entraide-Solidarity provided support to the Bernanos centre in Strasbourg which takes care of young refugees. In particular, Entraide-Solidarity helped the Bernanos centre to meet the needs for its kitchen through purchasing equipment and furniture. 

The amount of 1142 € was donated to the Bernanos centre.

[February 2020] In 2019, Entraide-Solidariy supported the project of the Association Macha'k Wayra.

Today, we are happy to share with you the outcome and beautiful achievements. The association has equipped the socio-cultural center and organised various activities. Thus the children of Santiago de Machaca could follow cooking, arts and crafts and sports workshops several times a week throughout the year.

[January 2020] The Association Entraide-Solidarity launches an appeal for funding the project of the Bernanos Centre in Strasbourg which takes care of young and homeless refugees or asylum seekers. Attached is some information on this Centre which plays indeed an important role in Strasbourg. Thanks to this its actions, a great number of young persons fleeing persecution in their countries managed to find a shelter and subsistence, and to be integrated in the communal life.

By lending your hand of support to this Centre, you make a truly great contribution towards the humanitarian cause!

Attached is also the outline of the needs of this Centre, in particular as regards the urgent needs for its kitchen, in the total amount of €1819 euros.

[January 2020] Dear Friends, dear contributors,

Thank you so much for the support you have given to our Association Entraide-Solidarity. Thanks to you we have been able to give concrete help to so many people, here and elsewhere, who really needed it.

For 2020, the General Assemply of the Association Entraide-Solidarity decided to focus in particular on local projects in Strasbourg or in the region for homeless people. We believe it is of utmost importance to help the most disadvantaged persons whom we see every day on the streets! Therefore, we would like to invite you to adhere to our Association (the membership fee is just €10 per year) or to consider making bigger donations.

Our projects are concrete! No donation is made to large associations or humanitarian causes that are already well-established. All our projects are supported by current or retired Council of Europe staff members who are personally committed to humanitarian causes.

We have gained real momentum and thanks to you – goodwill is in the air! We need your help to continue Entraide-Solidarity’s work for the benefit of those who, without us, often have nowhere else to turn.
