On 5-7 December 2016, the staff and members of the Council on the Prevention and Elimination of Discrimination and Ensuring Equality (Equality Council) participated at a two days training course organised within the project “Supporting national efforts for prevention and combating discrimination in Moldova”.

The training course was delivered by Ms Mara Manea, an international consultant, who trained the participants to improve their communication skills, to create a team spirit and to enhance their inter cooperation and openness towards each other.

During the training course, the staff and members of the Equality Council learned about the communication styles; how to communicate, engage, motivate and solve conflict with people with different styles; non-verbal communication; etc. Also, the participants worked individually and in teams on different subjects related to the communication patterns, the decision making process, how they structure the discussion, how they offer and receive feed-back, etc.

The project “Supporting national efforts for prevention and combating discrimination in Moldova” is funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and is part of the Partnership for Good Governance (PGG).
