Back Lithuania bans corporal punishment of children in all settings

The Lithuanian Parliament's unanimous vote to ban corporal punishment of children in all settings brings to 31 the number of Council of Europe member States to have taken this step. With the President of Lithuania's signature, the newly amended law will become effective, and all violence against children will be prohibited.
