The second phase of Training of Trainers (ToT) planned to strengthen capacities of judges, prosecutors and lawyers on individual application system and fundamental rights and freedoms, and targeting lawyers was organized on 14-16 July 2017 in Ankara. The ToT delivered by national academics and monitored by rapporteurs from the Constitutional Court of Turkey focused on “Application Procedure” and “Admissibility Criteria”. Training was delivered in cooperation with the Union of Turkish Bar Associations.

The ToT sessions with first phase focusing on “human rights” and second phase about “application procedure” and “admissibility criteria” will be completed in autumn in 2017 with participation of nearly 150 lawyers. Following the completion of their training, the lawyers will deliver regional training sessions on individual application procedure and admissibility to their peers.
