Under the Council of Europe project Strengthening the Protection of Unaccompanied Migrant Children in Türkiye, funded by Sweden, public institutions, international organisations and civil society came together to strengthen protection for unaccompanied migrant children in Türkiye. The Working Group Meeting helped clarify how children are identified and referred to appropriate services, define the roles of different actors, and identify gaps that may prevent children from receiving timely support. It also contributed to stronger co-operation among those working in child protection and migration, helping ensure that these children can access the protection, services and durable solutions they need.
