Through this webpage, the Division on Migration and Refugees (DMR), drawing on its mandate which includes suggesting assistance and support to the 46 Council of Europe member states in the field of migration and asylum, aims to offer all stakeholders easy-to-access sources of information on promising multi-level practices by states, building upon the acquis and information available notably from the Council of Europe and the European Union.

It is also a concrete follow up to recommendations formulated during the first Roundtable on Fact-based Communication on Migration (and reflected in its report), organised by DMR in November 2025. The roundtable highlighted the need to further promote and disseminate promising, multi-level  practices existing in member states and may serve as example or inspiration for further advances.
