The Ministers’ Deputies held their 1342nd meeting on 27 March 2019.
They decided to submit to the Parliamentary Assembly, for appointment to the post of Secretary General of the Council of Europe, with effect from 1 October 2019, the following candidatures in alphabetic order:
- Ms Marija Pejčinović Burić (Croatia) (Curriculum vitae)
- Mr Didier Reynders (Belgium) (Curriculum vitae)
They also adopted the following recommendations to member States:
- Recommendation CM/Rec(2019)1 on preventing and combating sexism (more …);
- Recommendation CM/Rec(2019)2 on the protection of health-related data (more …).
Finally, the Deputies held an exchange of views with Ms Nina Vajić, Chairperson of the Advisory Panel of Experts on Candidates for Election as Judge to the European Court of Human Rights.
