Staff of the Commissioner and Omburdsperson institution in Albania have participated in a training on the use of amicus curiae as a tool to promote anti-discrimination in the practice of national courts. The course was designed to address the needs of the participants and provide guidance on the application of amicus curiae to the cases they are handling.

The one day training course was organised on 9 and 10 November 2017 in Tirana, Albania and took place under the European Union and Council of Europe joint project “Enhancing the effectiveness of the Albanian system of Human Rights Protection and Anti-discrimination”.
