In 2021, 220 children in 10 Council of Europe member states were directly invited to discover the strategic objectives defined by national governments and their partners, and express their opinions about challenges to be met and responses to be provided. The results of children’s work are presented in the Report on child consultations informing the formulation of the Strategy for the Rights of the Child and are reflected in the Strategy which will guide the Council of Europe during 2022-2027.

Furthermore, some of the children who took active part in consultations on the Strategy were present at the High-level Launching Conference in Rome. In order to ensure a meaningful, safe and positive experience for the children, all participants were kindly requested to observe the following code of conduct.
