The Drafting Group on Human Rights in situations of crisis (CDDH-SCR) held its third meeting, from 8 to 10 March 2023.
During this meeting, the Group had an exchange views on human rights impact assessments in situations of crisis, including national practice, with the following external experts in this field:
- Tulika BANSAL, Senior Adviser on Human Rights and Business at The Danish Institute for Human Rights, Copenhagen
- Martin SCHEININ, Professor of International Law and Human Rights at the European University Institute, European University Institute, San Domenico di Fiesole
- Véronique GHESQUIERE, Head of the Policy and Monitoring Department at Unia, Brussels
- Hanna RÖNTY, Senior specialist, Unit for Legal Revision and Development of Legislation, Ministry of Justice, Helsinki
The Group also agreed on Guidance for the preparation of the Toolkit on human rights impact assessment of the measures taken by the State in situations of crisis.
