On 23 October 2024, the Joint Council on Youth, the co-managed decision-making body of the youth sector of the Council of Europe, has decided to reinforce the Council of Europe support to young people from Ukraine and to international youth co-operation activities therein.

As such, starting from the end of October 2024, organisations applying for EYF international activity grants within the Special call in support of young people from Ukraine no longer need to ensure co-funding for their proposals. This is a special measure that the EYF is putting in place to enhance international activities addressing the specific needs of young people from Ukraine. 

Applicant organisations can now apply for international activity grants within the Special call without needing to show co-funding.
