Following the decision of the Programming Committee on Youth regarding the pilot activity grants concerning applications received at the deadline of 15 May 2024, additional 7 projects were approved thanks to the savings from the budget. In total, 32 projects received funding at the deadline of 15 May 2025. The newly approved proposals are from 6 different countries with a total amount of 93 693 EUR.  131 pilot activity applications were received at the mentioned deadline.

The funded projects address various topics, such as climate change, the impact of climate change on the LGBTQI+ community, fostering better relations between ethnic, religious and various other marginalised groups, mental health,  supporting youth participation in the decision making processes and sociocultural integration of migrants.

A pilot activity addresses a contextual societal challenge affecting young people at local level. It is also be based on innovation or on replication and must have a strong European dimension.
