The European Youth Foundation (EYF), in co-operation with the European Youth Forum (YFJ), organised the EYF learning and networking days for international youth organisations in Brussels on 8 and 9 September 2026.

The event brought together 34 representatives from international youth organisations and networks and provided participants with an overview of the Council of Europe’s youth sector, including the latest developments concerning the EYF, its reform and the calls for proposals for international one-off youth activities and long-term projects to be implemented in 2027. Participants also learned more about the programme of the European Youth Centres and the work of the EU–Council of Europe youth partnership.

Through exchanges with members of the Secretariat, participants discovered the work and role of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) and explored how its working methods and mission can support youth organisations in their advocacy efforts.

Overall, the learning and networking days provided a valuable space for information, capacity-building and mutual learning.
