Monitoring visit to the international activity of the World Student Christian Federation in Europe (WSCF)

On 11 September 2025, the European Youth Foundation conducted a monitoring visit to the international activityA Future and a Hope: Bridging Youth Resilience Across Bordersof the World Student Christian Federation in Europe (WSCF) funded under the EYF Special Call Ukraine.

The five-day training activity (8–12 September) in Luserna San Giovanni, Italy, brought together 21 participants from 11 countries, representing Council of Europe member states as well as countries from other regions of the world to empower them with tools and strategies to strengthen young people’s resilience and foster their active participation in communities affected by conflict and war.

The programme offered space for participants to exchange experiences, share testimonies, and present practical peace and reconciliation initiatives from different parts of the world. It aimed to reinforce youth solidarity networks across regions while providing a platform for young people from conflict-affected areas to make their voices heard, advocate for their needs, and call for peace. Following this event, participants will engage in follow-up and dissemination activities within their local communities.

The “A Future and a Hope: Bridging Youth Resilience Across Borders” project is supported by the EYF through a grant for an international activity under Special Call Ukraine, supporting young people from Ukraine affected by the war.
