On 16 and 17 September, the European Youth Foundation carried out a visit to the project "Quality Assurance for All - ensuring quality of youth work through intersectionality and human rights" of the Human Rights Education Youth Network (HREYN) for their final project event in Brussels, Belgium.
Thirty participants attended the event whose main objectives focused on the presentation, discussion, and evaluation of a quality assurance model piloted during the project. Participants also engaged in discussions about intersectionality, particularly in relation to the specific situation of queer young people seeking international protection. A session was dedicated to the youth sector of the Council of Europe and its opportunities for youth organisations and youth workers.
The event also served as a launching moment of the Quality Assurance handbook.
This activity is part of an annual work plan of HREYN, supported by the European Youth Foundation through an annual work plan grant.
