Monitoring visit to the international activity of the Federation of Young European Greens

On 30 and 31 July 2025, the European Youth Foundation conducted a monitoring visit to the international activity “Summer camp: Policies of today, and of tomorrow” of the Federation of Young European Greens (FYEG), as part of the 2025 annual work plan “One for all, all for one-OUR rights”.

The training activity, held over six days (27 July – 1 August) in Celbowo, Poland, brought together 35 participants from 25 countries to empower and educate them on social justice and human rights, while encouraging them to explore alternatives to existing social, economic, and environmental policies.

Through non-formal education methods, participants strengthened their competences in identifying and evaluating youth priorities in social policies and addressed these by drafting their own policy projects. The training sessions were enriched by an intervention from a Polish MEP Małgorzata Tracz (Civic Coalition/The Greens) and Bogusz Schmidt – a member of the District Assembly of Reinickendorf in Berlin and member of the German party Bündnis 90/Die Grünen (the German Greens) who presented their work and explained policy-making mechanisms. The training empowered FYEG members active in their local communities to create assessment projects that contribute to FYEG’s broader social justice campaign.

The “One for all, all for one-OUR rights” project is supported by the EYF through a grant for an annual work plan. More information for this type of support can be found at the following link: What is an annual work plan? - European Youth Foundation
