The complaint was registered on 12 January 2024. It relates to Articles 1§§1 and 2 (the right to work), 4§§1 and 4 (the right to a fair remuneration) and 6§4 (the rights to collective bargaining). The complainant union alleges that the Ministry of Education applies a difference in treatment in terms of salary, career progression and seniority between teachers who had previously worked in public schools and those who had previously worked in parochial schools, in breach of the aforementioned provisions of the Charter.
