The Governmental Committee* of the European Social Charter and the European Code of Social Security ("Governmental Committee") is holding its 145th meeting from 21 to 25 November 2022 in hybrid mode.
The Governmental Committee will examine the situations of non-conformity with regard to the thematic group "Health, social security and social protection" relating to conclusions XXII-2 (2021) - European Social Charter (CES) 1961 and conclusions 2021 - Revised European Social Charter (RESC).
In addition, the Governmental Committee will discuss the latest developments regarding the operational changes to the European Social Charter system, adopted by the Committee of Ministers on 27 September 2022.
An updated list of INGOs entitled to present collective complaints will also be submitted to the Governmental Committee with a view to its adoption.
* The Governmental Committee is composed of representatives of States Parties which have ratified either the European Social Charter or the European Code of Social Security.
