The members of Precinct Electoral Bureaus from 15 administrative-territorial units of the Republic of Moldova enhanced their skills in conducting elections

The members of Precinct Electoral Bureaus (PEB) from 15 administrative-territorial units of Republic of Moldova enhanced their skills in organization and conducting elections. This is thanks to the co-operation between the Council of Europe and the Centre for Continuous Electoral Training (CCET) to improve electoral practices in the Republic of Moldova. Thus, in the context of the new local elections to be held on 21 November 2021, were launched the producing of training materials and hand-outs, in Romanian and Russian languages, for the members of PEBs.

Materials are designed for trainings provided by the CCET aiming to prepare the members of election management bodies for the new local elections for the office of a mayor in 15 administrative-territorial units comprising more than 150 thousand of inhabitants throughout the country.

As a result, the members of PEBs are prepared to fulfil their responsibilities and deal in professional manner with the organisation and conduct of the elections.

This activity is funded and implemented by the Council of Europe Project Improving Electoral Practice in the Republic of Moldova, Phase II.
