Back Meeting of the Ministers’ Deputies on 23 October 2024

At their 1510th meeting, on 23 October, the Ministers’ Deputies adopted a Recommendation to member States on young people and climate action, which underlines young people’s freedom of expression and the importance of judicial review in environmental matters [more information …].
 
The Deputies held an exchange of views with Mr Marko Bošnjak, President of the European Court of Human Rights, on developments concerning the Court’s work in the last six months.
 
They also heard a communication by Mr Mathieu Mori, Secretary General of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe on the outcome of the 47th Session (15-17 October 2024) and other activities of the Congress [more information …].
 
In addition, the Deputies welcomed the fact that the Neighbourhood Co-operation Priorities with Kazakhstan 2019-2023 had been implemented successfully.
