At their 1557th meeting, on 15 April, the Ministers’ Deputies continued their preparation of the 135th Session of the Committee of Ministers (Chişinău, 14-15 May 2026).
They held an exchange of views with Mr Alan Mitchell, President of the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (CPT), following his presentation of the Annual General Report on the CPT activities in 2025 [more information ...].
The Deputies also heard a communication by Ms Despina Chatzivassiliou, Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly, on the preparation of the 2nd part of the 2026 Session (Strasbourg, 20-24 April 2026) and other Assembly activities.
