On February 18, 2022, the chairwoman of the High Judicial Council (HJC), the Minister of Justice (MoJ) and the General Prosecutor held an exchange of views with representatives of the Courts, Bar Association and legal aid services on the judicial map proposal, presented for discussion in several public consultation roundtables with different interest groups. CEPEJ provided support through international and local experts for the preparation of the judicial map proposal jointly adopted by the HJC and MoJ in December 2021. At present, CEPEJ is providing funding for a series of public consultations that HJC and MoJ are organizing with various interest groups (lawyers, notaries, civil society organizations). At the end of the consultation process, CEPEJ will provide further expertise to finalize judicial map proposal and develop an implementation plan for the re-organization of court system in Albania
