Court Managers' Forum in Georgia organised by CEPEJ

On 16-17 December the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) organised the annual Court Managers' Forum.

During the first part of the event, selected court managers presented the good practices in introducing and implementing CEPEJ tools in their courts’ daily work, while managers from four pilot courts presented the CEPEJ court coaching programme activities. On this occasion and as a follow up to the training and preparation of a methodology for statisticians, the Supreme Court's statistics unit emphasized the importance of standardizing data collection practices to ensure coherence and reliability in judicial data management.

The second part of the Forum was dedicated to conducting a capacity building workshop on the implementation of revised SATURN guideline for judicial time management and a time management checklist. These interactive sessions aimed to equip court managers with practical skills to manage time effectively via practical exercises on the application of selected CEPEJ tools.

This activity was organised within the framework of the project “Support to modernisation of court management in Georgia”, funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe in their Partnership for Good Governance III (2023-2027) .
