On 8 and 9 February 2024, an international conference on "The digital transformation of the judicial system, a vector for efficient and inclusive justice" was organized in Tangier, Morocco, by the Moroccan Ministry of Justice and the UNDP. It brought together over 200 national, regional and international stakeholders in the field of digital justice to exchange experiences and best practices in the field, and to discuss in greater depth the opportunities offered by digital transformation in the field of justice. The Conference was opened by Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi, Minister of Justice, Mr. M'hammed Abdenabaoui, Deputy President of the Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ), and Mr. Hassan Daki, President of the Public Prosecutor's Office (PMP). On this occasion, the CEPEJ participated in the panel on user-centered digital justice services, a topic directly in line with its 2022-2025 Action Plan entitled "Digitization for better justice". The Conference was also an opportunity for the CEPEJ to discuss a forthcoming cooperation project with its main partners in Morocco, which will focus in part on the efficiency and quality of the Moroccan justice system and include support for the digital transformation of the justice sector, based on the tools developed by the CEPEJ in this area.
