Hautes Fagnes Nature Reserve

Situated in the north-eastern Ardennes, the Hautes Fagnes nature reserve occupies some of the highest territory in Belgium (700 m). It features moorland and heath, and a harsh, rainy climate. The reserve is partly in the German-speaking eastern canton and partly in Wallonia.
