The 8th meeting of the Working Group on Reporting under Resolution No. 8 (2012) was held online on 25 June 2026.
Following the completion of the second reporting cycle under Resolution No. 8 (2012), covering the period 2019–2024, representatives of Contracting Parties met to review the results of the national reporting exercise on the conservation status of species and habitats, based on reports submitted through Reportnet 3, the European Environment Agency's (EEA) online reporting platform.
Participants in the Working Group emphasised the importance of the work carried out as a necessary contribution to the implementation of the Strategic Plan toward 2030.
They also discussed the methodology and preparations for the forthcoming pan-European assessments and national summaries, which are expected to be finalised in the autumn, as well as ways to enhance the visibility and dissemination of the reporting results at the global level.
