The Council of Europe is currently implementing a Project on ‘Supporting Malta in the design and implementation of a new national Anti-Trafficking Strategy’. It aims at supporting the Maltese authorities with the ongoing policy reform for combating trafficking in human beings with the design and implementation of a new national Strategy to prevent and combat trafficking in human beings, in line with international standards.
In that context, the Council of Europe is looking for national service providers to support the implementation of this project with a particular expertise in researching and providing comprehensive legal and policy analysis of the situation of trafficking in human beings in Malta, in particular with regards to the identification and protection of victims. Experience in working directly with victims of trafficking in human beings or related crimes would be a strong asset.
