The third meeting of the working group for the development of training programs for the judges, prosecutors and lawyers in Turkey on human rights and individual application within the framework of Joint Project on Supporting Individual Application to the Constitutional Court in Turkey was organized on 25-27 November 2016 in Antalya.
Draft training modules that were initially developed by academics were revised and improved by academics from law faculties of various universities, rapporteurs of the Constitutional Court and groups of judges, prosecutors and lawyers with the consideration of the module contents, the needs of target groups (administrative, criminal and civil judges, prosecutors and lawyers) as well as adult training methods and techniques. Modules developed by sub-groups were presented to all participants in plenary sessions for general evaluation and exchanges were made on the views and considerations of other groups. The groups gave test trainings on the last day of the meeting in order to see the functioning of their modules.
Development of training modules to be used in training sessions that will be launched as of 2017 were mostly completed in this activity.
